Johnsburg High School Golf

Johnsburg HS will conduct the last day of tryouts of Monday, August 15th at Pro Circle Golf in Spring Grove at 9:30 am. The following players are invited to attend:

The boys team will practice at Pro Circle at 10 am and the girls will practice at 10:30am.

Please bring money for range balls.

There was great improvement from Day 1 to Day 2 for the Johnsburg Golf Team tryouts. The boys improved their scores by an average of 2 strokes from Day 1 while the girls improved by 4.

A great turnout for opening day and the Johnsburg HS Golf Tryouts !

• 25 Men and 8 Women were present for the first day of tryouts at Chapel Hill. The second round of tryouts will continue today at 3PM. Some cuts will be made today (Thursday) and the final round of cuts will be on Monday.
• Brad Talbot will be this year's Boys Golf Team Captain and Sarah Bereiter and Lindsey Miller will serve as captains for the Girls Team.

Tryouts for this years golf team will be held Wednesday, August 10th at 7am, Thursday, August 11th at 2 pm, and Friday, August 12th at 7am. Wednesday and Thursday's tryouts will be at Chapel Hill in McHenry and Friday's tryout will be at Boone Creek in Bull Valley.

We will be keeping 16 boys and 8 girls for this year's team.

Our first matches will be on Friday, August 19th and Saturday, August 20th.
