JHS vs. Cary Grove @ Cary Country Club - Thursday, September 2, 2010

The Johnsburg boys golf team traveled to Cary Country Club and escaped the rain but couldn't escape the Trojans as Cary Grove defeated the Skyhawks by 11.  Colin Goulet threw out his best score of the year with a 3 over par 40 to lead the Hawks and miss the medalist honor by 1.  Rick Pries' 43 was second best.  The Skyhawks are now 0-5 in the Fox Valley and 4-12 overall.

The JV Hawks had their best round of the year but fell just short of defeating Cary Grove.  Ryan Baron led the Skyhawks with a 46.

Better, much better.  The Skyhawks posted their lowest round in 2 weeks but fell to the Wolves on Tuesday at Prairie Isle.  The return of captain Rick Pries sparked the Skyhawks in the their attempt to upset Prairie Ridge.  Rick Pries and Jake Gasior led the way with a 42.  Colin Goulet was 1 back with 43.  The Skyhawks are now 0-4 in the Fox Valley and 4-11 overall.

Grant Bulldog Invite @ Antioch Country Club - Saturday, August 28, 2010

The Skyhawks traveled to Antioch Country Club to compete in the Grant Bulldog Invite on Saturday.  If the tournament ended after 11 holes, the Skyhawks would have had a chance, but the last 7 holes took their toll on the Johnsburg golfers and they finished 5th overall.  Jake Gasior led the way with an 89.

Today's practice is at school.  Meet in room 113 at 2:30, bring your 8 iron.
