JHS - Grant Bulldog Invite @ Antioch CC - Saturday, September 20, 2008

The Skyhawks made their first of four trips to Antioch Country Club this morning and came home with a 3rd place finish. The Hawks didn't play their best rounds of the season but still managed to play well enough to finish in third for the second straight year. Jake Arden made 4 birdies and finished in 4th place.

The varsity boys golf team won their second straight match on Thursday against the Huntley Red Raiders. Jake Arden and Tyler Chambers were the co-medalists shooting 40s. Tim Healy shot a 41. The Hawks are now 3 - 5 in the FVC and 6 - 5 overall.

Jake Gasior was the medalist in the JV match tonight shooting a 44. Colin Goulet shot a 46 and was the second low for the match. The JV Hawks won their second straight to move to 3-5 on the season.

The Skyhawks jumped back into the win column with a victory over the visiting Chargers this afternoon at Chapel Hill. Jake Arden was the match medalist shooting a 38. Tim Mulvey added a 40. The Hawks are now 5-5 overall and 2-5 in the Fox Valley.

On a cold, soggy Randall Oaks course, Jake Arden's 39 wasn't enough as the conference's best team beat the Skyhawks 155 to 169. Tim Mulvey added a 42 as the Hawks fall to 1-5 in the Fox Valley and 4-5 overall

The JV Hawks shot their best round of the season but lost to Jacobs by 19. Dom Pascente played the front nine shooting a 7 over 43. Tim Healy led the charge on the back nine shooting a 9 over 42.
