Schedule Change for Friday
The F/S golfers will practice at Pro Circle on Friday, September 18. Players may come right after school for practice. This is different from the calendar sent home on Monday which had F/S practice at 3:45. Coach Frey will be at Pro Circle until 4:30.
The following players are excused from practice:
- All varsity players
- All players going to the football game
The lineups and schedule for next week will be posted on Friday or, the latest, Saturday morning.

The Skyhawks got back to their winning ways behind a stellar round by Jake Arden. Jake had 7 pars, 1 bogey and 1 birdie to shoot an even par 36 and earn the medalist honors for the match. The win puts the Hawks at 3 - 5 in the Fox Valley conference, 6 - 5 in dual matches and 17 - 5 overall.

The Skyhawks traveled to Redtail Golf Course in Lakewood to take on the Gators in a Fox Valley Conference match on Wednesday. A little bit windy, a lot bit sunny, the Hawks fell to South by 13. Jake Arden and Tyler Chambers led the Hawks shooting matching 42s. Rick Pries added a 44. The Skyhawks end their 2 match winning streak and drop to 2-5 in the FVC, 5-5 in duals and 16-5 overall.

The Skyhawks eeked out another close match today at Bonnie Dundee against Dundee Crown winning by a score of 155 to 156. Jake Arden was today's match medalist shooting a 37, Tyler Chambers scrambled around the course and managed to come in with a 38. The 155 is another Johnsburg High School record set this year. Today's 155 is the lowest nine hole team score for an away match, beating the previous low of 156 set in 1995 at Renwood. The Hawks are now 2-4 in the FVC, 5-4 in dual matches and 16-4 overall.

Johnsburg Grads Begin College Seasons
As the high school season nears its midpoint, the college season has just begun. 5 former Johnsburg golfers are now playing at the collegiate level.
Senior Brad Talbot, the 2005 team MVP is now playing at Judson University in Elgin along with
Freshman Zach Gasior.
Junior Ben Biederer, the 2006 team MVP is in his third season at Sterling College in Kansas.
Sophomore Cody Krueger is beginning his second year at Blackburn College
Freshman Ashley Smith, 2 time sectional qualifier and 2 time JHS MVP is now playing at Central College in Iowa.
