Fall 2014 Golf Information
The Skyhawks will begin the 2014 season on August 13th. Here is some important information regarding the upcoming season:
In order to participate, each golfer will need a clearance card. This procedure is different from previous years and is done online. If you have questions on getting a clearance card, please contact Ms. Cavanaugh in the Athletic Director's office. Along with the clearance card, every golfer needs to pay a $50 golf fee. This fee will cover all greens fees and range balls for the entire season and will pay for the player's team golf shirt, which the player will keep at the end of the season. This fee can be paid in a check made to JHS or cash.
Each player will need his own set of clubs. The player must also provide his own golf balls and tees. Players will be provided with a team bag.
The first day of practice will be on Wednesday, August 13th with 18 holes at Nippersink Golf Club in Genoa City. The first tee time will be around 10AM. A bus will be provided and will leave from the back of the high school. This bus time will be 9:15AM.
Thursday, August 14th and Friday, August 15th will be a 9 hole practice at Nippersink. A bus will leave the back of the high school around 2:45PM on both days.
We play our first match the following Monday at Timber Pointe Golf course in Poplar Grove. The 12 golfers participating will be told on the bus ride home from Friday's practice.
