2007 Tryouts - Boys and Girls Teams
The tryouts for the 2007 Boys and Girls Johnsburg Golf Teams will take place on Wednesday, August 8th, Thursday, August 9th, and Friday, August 10th at Chalet Hills golf club. The first tee time is 7AM. The bus will depart from the back parking lot at 6:15 AM each day. Golfers must have their clearance cards before Wednesday. Students will NOT be allowed to try out unless they have a clearance card.
Groups for tryouts will be randomly assigned. A preliminary cut could be made after Thursday's round. Check this website for more info.
Golfers must be properly attired to participate in tryouts. Golfers must wear dress or cargo shorts, a golf shirt and a belt. All shirts will be tucked in.
I am expecting 20 to 30 golfers at tryouts. In the past we have kept 16 to 20 golfers for the team.
Those boys making the team will need to purchase a team golf shirt that the captains have picked out. This shirt will cost between $20 and $35 dollars.
The top 8 golfers (by score) will participate in the Byron Invitational on Monday, August 13th.

1. You may drive yourself, be ready to play at 8AM.
2. Sweater vests are ALWAYS ok.
3. You will have to ask your teammates about the bags. I need to have at least 6 to place an order.
