Johnsburg High School Golf

A great job today fellas! Great weather and improved golf made for a great day on the links.

Some of the highlights of the day included:

• Jake Arden's 73, which is 4 less than the school record for 18 holes
  
• The top 4 varsity scores added to a 322, which is 8 less than the school record for 18 hole team score
  
• Alec Brown took a ball off his head and still managed to finish his round.
• Cullen Mulvey's 91 was the lowest freshman Mulvey score ever.
• Kevin Betke shot a 41 on the back nine despite having a 490 degree fever.

Read this before scrolling down to the 2009 JHS Golf Roster. The top 6 scores in each grade were selected for the team. The final 2 spots had the highest average among the remaining players. There are a total of 19 golfers.

If you were not chosen for the 19 man roster, you are still invited to participate in golf. We will be practicing twice a week at Chapel Hill and Pro Circle in Spring Grove and you may come to practice any time you would like to work on your game or get a practice round in. You won't play in any high school matches but you would get your $60 participation fee returned. This is an open invitation, you do not need to let Coach Frey know, just show up for practice.
