JHS vs. Crystal Lake Central - Wednesday, September 9, 2009
Crystal Lake Central 148
JHS 173
In the featured match of the Northwest Herald, on the busiest day in Chapel Hill history, the Skyhawks fell to state ranked Crystal Lake Central, 148 to 173. Teeing off in front of a huge crowd on the back nine, both teams played six holes on the back and then switched over to the front to finish the match. The confusion did nothing to deter the Tigers who shot a great team score of 148 with 5 of their players shooting in the 30s (six if you count the JV #1.) Tyler Chambers led the Hawks with a 42.
